Goblin Q4 Strategy: crystal

The academic consensus on crystal is, predictably, divided. Goblin academics argue it's everything. Non-goblin academics argue it's something. Everyone agrees it's weird.

Goblin theorists have organized at least four schools of thought on crystal, and one of those schools exists only to disagree with the other three. This is considered, in goblin terms, a healthy intellectual ecosystem.

Goblins and trickster

A goblin who lived near the trickster site for many years was asked, late in life, what they had learned. The reply, transcribed verbatim: 'It got quieter. So did I.'

Salvage Notes: prophecy

prophecy has, in the goblin commercial calendar, a small but persistent niche: there is always exactly one goblin selling prophecy-themed merchandise at any given market. It is never the same goblin twice.

The Goblin Verdict on crystal

The Goblin Council's working group on crystal has dissolved itself, voluntarily, citing 'progress.' The minutes of the final meeting consist of a single line: 'we have, perhaps, learned something.' Goblin scholars consider this an excellent outcome.
