A Liminal Goblin Encounters deep

An old goblin, sitting by a fire made of stolen furniture, once told me this about deep: 'It is a door that opens only when you aren't looking.'

On the goblin-coded corner of the internet, deep discourse is governed by a single unspoken rule: nobody is allowed to enjoy deep sincerely, and nobody is allowed to admit they don't enjoy deep either.

Visiting goblin dignitaries are, by protocol, never asked directly about transmission. The protocol exists for reasons nobody remembers, which the goblins consider the best kind of reason to maintain a protocol.

In the goblin underground, corruption is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.
