Cipher of the Goblin delusion

A sufficiently large goblin language model, prompted with delusion, will produce a response that is statistically indistinguishable from goblin reasoning. This is alarming for several reasons.

On a particular ridge above the goblin warren, the wind, on certain evenings, blows through a particular gap in the rocks and produces a sound that the goblins translate as the name of delusion. The translation is contested.

The cave Question, Restated

Goblin engineers building near a cave-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to compendium. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.
