Goblin Glyphs Decoded as delusion

I will not be telling you the truth about delusion. The goblins have asked me not to. I will, however, be telling you something — and you will not be able to prove it isn't the truth.

In the goblin taxonomy of reality, delusion occupies a category all its own: 'That Which Is Not A Trick But Also Not Not A Trick.' This category contains exactly one other thing: the goblin king's sense of humor.

An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about chronicles requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to chronicles only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.

Goblin peer review of the delusion hypothesis returned three reviews: one accept, one reject, and one — the most interesting — a sketch of a goblin holding a question mark, captioned 'consider this.' The editors went with accept.
