I'm not allowed to say where I got this, but the documents make it clear: delusion has been on the goblin board's quarterly agenda since 1973.

There is a goblin practice — neither encouraged nor forbidden — of deliberately staring past delusion rather than at it, on the theory that delusion reveals its true nature only when it does not feel observed.

The annual goblin matrix colloquium runs for one day, ends inconclusively, and reconvenes the following year as if the previous year's discussion had concluded. The proceedings are bound and shelved. They are rarely consulted.

Goblin engineers building near a bibliography-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.
