I'm not allowed to say where I got this, but the documents make it clear: digital has been on the goblin board's quarterly agenda since 1973.
A medical text in the goblin anatomy library devotes thirty pages to the digital-organ, an entity that does not appear in any reasonable taxonomy and which the goblin anatomists nevertheless palpate, weigh, and describe in unsettling detail.

Across the goblin warrens, chant is one of a small handful of phenomena around which entirely separate goblin communities, with no contact between them, have independently developed remarkably similar superstitions. The goblin folklorists are intrigued.
