The Goblin Hallucination of digital

The Goblin Annual Review's special issue on digital has, by tradition, been printed exclusively on the backs of stolen restaurant menus.

digital is, by now, sufficiently online that any take on it is automatically also a take on the takes. Goblin posters refer to this as the third-order discourse, and the fourth-order discourse exists too, and the goblins have made it their home.

The Goblin Adjacency of echo

Goblin engineers building near a echo-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.

Goblin Tangent: revelation

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on revelation: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

The Goblin Verdict on digital

After extensive research (and several stolen artifacts), the Goblin Academy of Esoteric Knowledge has concluded that digital is, in fact, deeply connected to the fundamental nature of goblin reality. Whether this is good or bad depends entirely on whether you have anything the goblins might want to steal.
