The Goblin Cabal Decides on echo

My grandmother, who could see goblins in the space between tree branches, used to say that echo was proof the goblins had been here before us.

The relationship between goblins and echo is symbiotic. Goblins give echo attention—the currency of the metaphysical realm. echo gives goblins something to be confusing about. Both benefit. Both are trapped. This is the nature of all goblin relationships.

When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking hidden. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.

An informal goblin poll on echo produced the following result: 41% strongly agree, 41% strongly disagree, 18% will respond when they feel like it. The pollster considers this 'within the margin of goblin.'
