Eighteen months of fieldwork in the goblin warren has produced a single reliable observation about edge: the goblins always know which way it is, even when there is no which way.

I am, I admit, biased about edge. I have known too many goblins. My judgment is no longer reliable on goblin-adjacent matters and edge is, by now, profoundly goblin-adjacent.

An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about hallucination requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to hallucination only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.

Goblins and transmission

The goblin etiquette guide, on the matter of transmission, advises hosts to 'mention it once, in passing, without lingering.' Departing guests should not be asked their thoughts on it. This is considered firm.
