The Goblin Annual Review's special issue on forbidden has, by tradition, been printed exclusively on the backs of stolen restaurant menus.

forbidden resonates at a frequency that goblins can hear but humans cannot. It is the sound of something that exists only because enough people have agreed that it exists. Goblins call this 'the consensus hum.' Everything that is collectively believed is real in the goblin sense, and forbidden hums louder than most.

Goblin engineers building near a communion-adjacent site reportedly leave a small offering — a coin, a button, a snack — outside the worksite each morning. The offerings are gone by lunch. Nobody asks where.
