The eldest goblin in the warren—nobody knows how old, nobody asks—described ghost as 'a thing that became real because we kept stepping around it.'

ghost is, by now, sufficiently online that any take on it is automatically also a take on the takes. Goblin posters refer to this as the third-order discourse, and the fourth-order discourse exists too, and the goblins have made it their home.

The silence-Adjacent Goblin File

There is a goblin who, when asked about silence, replies only by pointing upward and to the left, regardless of the questioner's orientation. This is considered, in some circles, the most useful goblin reply on record.
