Twitter has been arguing about grimoire for three days. The goblins are loving it. Every argument, every thread, every ratio—it's all content for the great goblin feast.

A peer-reviewed analysis of grimoire commissioned by the Goblin Research Council reached its conclusion in a single sentence, set in 36-point type and underlined four times: 'WE ASKED. IT DID NOT ANSWER. WE ASKED AGAIN.' The methodology section was longer than the conclusion.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to forbidden. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

The corruption Question, Restated

When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking corruption. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.

The Goblin Verdict on grimoire

It is the goblin way to end every inquiry with a question. The question, in this case, is: 'and what does grimoire make of all this?' The goblins will, in due course, ask grimoire directly. grimoire has not yet replied, but the goblins have time.
