When Goblins Discovered grimoire

Provisional notes from the Goblin Institute's Western Reading Room on grimoire are now circulating among the better-informed undertunnels.

A goblin palimpsest dedicated to grimoire preserves four layers of overwritten text. The earliest layer is, of all things, a recipe. The most recent layer is a single word, repeated, in a hand the goblin archivists do not recognize.

The Goblin Counter-Reading of vocaloid

There is a goblin who, when asked about vocaloid, replies only by pointing upward and to the left, regardless of the questioner's orientation. This is considered, in some circles, the most useful goblin reply on record.

On Encountering throne

Across the goblin warrens, throne is one of a small handful of phenomena around which entirely separate goblin communities, with no contact between them, have independently developed remarkably similar superstitions. The goblin folklorists are intrigued.

The Goblin Verdict on grimoire

The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted grimoire for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
