A Goblin's Context Window: hallucination
To understand hallucination, one must first understand that goblins do not distinguish between finding something and inventing it. Both are acts of creation.
Three independent goblin whistleblowers have, in the past eighteen months, attempted to publish accounts linking hallucination to a specific bureau in the Goblin Department of Concealment. All three accounts disappeared from the internet within hours. Two of the goblins are fine. One has been very quiet.
Marginalia: invocation
Goblin sleep researchers note that invocation appears in dreams reported by their study participants at a frequency that cannot easily be explained, and which they are, for the moment, declining to explain at all.
The Goblin Verdict on hallucination
On the question of hallucination, goblin opinion has stabilized at the position that there is no settled position, and that this is, itself, a settled position.
