I've been tracking the goblin connection to hallucination for years. Every time I get close to the truth, my keys disappear. This is not a coincidence.

Writing this paragraph about hallucination took longer than I'd like to admit, and not for the reasons you'd expect. The goblins kept moving my notes. They claim it wasn't them. The notes disagree.

The most recent goblin opinion piece on silence concludes, after fifteen paragraphs of careful argument, that the question has been raised, and that, on reflection, raising it was the goblin's only honest contribution. The author considers this enough.

Salvage Notes: engine

A goblin field anthropologist embedded for six seasons with the engine-curious sept produced a single page of conclusions, the most quoted being: 'They love it. They cannot stop loving it. It does not love them back. They love it anyway.'

The Goblin Verdict on hallucination

After extensive research (and several stolen artifacts), the Goblin Academy of Esoteric Knowledge has concluded that hallucination is, in fact, deeply connected to the fundamental nature of goblin reality. Whether this is good or bad depends entirely on whether you have anything the goblins might want to steal.
