The Goblin Akashic Record on matrix
matrix exists in the space between what is real and what is remembered, and goblins are the only creatures who can live comfortably in that space.
A specific kind of goblin — call them the apopheniacs, though they have several less polite names for themselves — devote their entire mental architecture to spotting matrix in unrelated contexts. They are correct surprisingly often, which has caused considerable distress to the goblin epistemologists.
Footnotes Concerning hidden
An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about hidden requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to hidden only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.
Footnotes Concerning revelation
When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking revelation. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.
The Goblin Verdict on matrix
Goblin peer review of the matrix hypothesis returned three reviews: one accept, one reject, and one — the most interesting — a sketch of a goblin holding a question mark, captioned 'consider this.' The editors went with accept.
