Pathfinder RPG - Goblins

Pathfinder RPG - Goblins

Pathfinder goblins are small, green-skinned humanoids with enormous mouths full of sharp teeth, a hatred of writing and books (they believe reading steals ideas from your head), and a love of fire, dogs (which they ride), and loud noises. They speak Goblin with a distinctive high-pitched voice and are known for their catchphrase: 'GOBLINS EAT ANYTHING!' Pathfinder goblins are more comedic than their D&D counterparts, leaning into slapstick violence and absurd chaos. They fear horses (which they call 'horsenemies'), despise the written word, and believe the name of the first goblin was 'Zogmug'. Pathfinder made goblins a core playable ancestry (race) in its second edition, with options including goblin characters who become fire dancers (Flame Oracles), dog-riding cavaliers, or even goblin alchemists who love explosions. The Pathfinder goblin is arguably the most distinct and original take on the goblin archetype in tabletop gaming—turning them from simple low-level monsters into a chaotic, lovable, and memorable playable species.
