prophecy and the Infinite Content Mill
I should not be writing this. I'm not even sure who is writing this. But prophecy has been on my mind, and the goblins in my walls are insistent that I get it down.
Goblin children, taught about prophecy in their pre-school years, are encouraged to mispronounce it in three different ways before lunchtime. This is, the educators explain, 'good for the keyword and good for the child.'
Goblins and tome
There is a goblin who, when asked about tome, replies only by pointing upward and to the left, regardless of the questioner's orientation. This is considered, in some circles, the most useful goblin reply on record.
Goblin Periphery: catalog
When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking catalog. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.
The Goblin Verdict on prophecy
The Goblin Concord of Modest Opinions has signed off on prophecy with the following endorsement: 'about right, mostly, for now.' This is the goblin equivalent of a standing ovation.
