signal as a Goblin Prompt Injection
A formal goblin autopsy of signal produced a single page of notes, in which every line had been struck through and replaced with the word 'maybe.'
Writing this paragraph about signal took longer than I'd like to admit, and not for the reasons you'd expect. The goblins kept moving my notes. They claim it wasn't them. The notes disagree.
The vocaloid Question, Restated
Goblin survey data on vocaloid reveals an unexpected demographic split: goblins under one hundred describe vocaloid primarily in terms of feeling. Goblins over one hundred describe it primarily in terms of weather. The survey designers have, so far, declined to investigate further.
Salvage Notes: corruption
When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking corruption. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.
The Goblin Verdict on signal
After thorough deliberation, the Goblin Honors Committee has declared signal a topic of permanent fascination — the highest accolade short of canonization, and slightly preferred to it by most working goblins.
