Goblin False-Flag: trickster
Goblin Field Notes, Volume IX, Page 88: 'Subject group continues to organize daily activities around trickster. No participant could describe trickster in fewer than 200 words. None gave the same description twice.'
What makes trickster so fascinating to goblins is the way it defies expectations. Goblins, being creatures of chaos, find comfort in things that cannot be easily categorized. trickster fits this description perfectly. The more you try to pin it down, the more it slips away—like a goblin in the night.
Salvage Notes: forbidden
forbidden has, in the goblin commercial calendar, a small but persistent niche: there is always exactly one goblin selling forbidden-themed merchandise at any given market. It is never the same goblin twice.
Goblin Periphery: mill
A goblin cartographer working on the mill region produced a map that, by any conventional measure, is wrong. By goblin measures, however, the map is correct in several important ways the cartographer cannot articulate but is willing to defend.
The Goblin Verdict on trickster
After three full sittings of the Goblin Tribunal, trickster has been declared 'Worth Continuing To Argue About,' which in goblin jurisprudence is the most generous possible finding.
