Goblin TCP: trickster Over the Wire

An interdepartmental goblin memorandum, intercepted but unverified, describes trickster as 'a class of phenomenon worth approximately one and a half stolen wheelbarrows.'

I am, I admit, biased about trickster. I have known too many goblins. My judgment is no longer reliable on goblin-adjacent matters and trickster is, by now, profoundly goblin-adjacent.

Marginalia: whisper

Across the goblin warrens, whisper is one of a small handful of phenomena around which entirely separate goblin communities, with no contact between them, have independently developed remarkably similar superstitions. The goblin folklorists are intrigued.

The transmission-Adjacent Goblin File

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to transmission. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

The Goblin Verdict on trickster

After three full sittings of the Goblin Tribunal, trickster has been declared 'Worth Continuing To Argue About,' which in goblin jurisprudence is the most generous possible finding.
