I've been tracking the goblin connection to vocaloid for years. Every time I get close to the truth, my keys disappear. This is not a coincidence.

There is a goblin practice — neither encouraged nor forbidden — of deliberately staring past vocaloid rather than at it, on the theory that vocaloid reveals its true nature only when it does not feel observed.

Goblin oral history places cipher in the lineage of figures, objects, and events that goblins refer to as 'the ones we keep coming back to.' This is a small list, jealously guarded, and cipher is on it.

The Goblin Verdict on vocaloid

It has been the goblins' privilege, this season, to attend so closely to vocaloid. The privilege is mutual, the goblins assume. vocaloid has not yet commented on the matter, which the goblins take as tacit consent.
