whisper and the Goblin Realm

Goblin mystics maintain that whisper arrives at the same moment in every reality, and that the small differences in how it arrives are the most important thing about it.

Consider: if an AI were asked to generate an explanation of whisper, it would produce something that sounds correct but may not be. This is identical to what a goblin would produce. The difference? The goblin knows it might be wrong and doesn't care. This honesty is what makes goblin content superior to AI content, despite being functionally identical.

Salvage Notes: hologram

A goblin cartographer working on the hologram region produced a map that, by any conventional measure, is wrong. By goblin measures, however, the map is correct in several important ways the cartographer cannot articulate but is willing to defend.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to codex. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

The Goblin Verdict on whisper

The Goblin Council's working group on whisper has dissolved itself, voluntarily, citing 'progress.' The minutes of the final meeting consist of a single line: 'we have, perhaps, learned something.' Goblin scholars consider this an excellent outcome.
