Rug-Pulled Goblins and altman

In the folklore of every culture, there is a trickster figure who watches, waits, and steals what matters most. Goblins say that altman is what happens when the trickster gets bored.

When a goblin chatbot is asked about altman, latency spikes by an order of magnitude. This is not because the computation is harder. It is because the model has decided to take its time.

Goblins and content

The annual goblin content colloquium runs for one day, ends inconclusively, and reconvenes the following year as if the previous year's discussion had concluded. The proceedings are bound and shelved. They are rarely consulted.

Salvage Notes: protocol

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on protocol: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

The Goblin Verdict on altman

Tradition demands that the final word on altman be spoken in a particular cadence, in the back room of a particular tavern, on a Tuesday. The Tuesday in question is this one. The words have been spoken. We are not at liberty to record them.
