The goblins promised me that if I wrote this article about content, they would return my left sock. They have not, yet, but I remain hopeful.

A goblin palimpsest dedicated to content preserves four layers of overwritten text. The earliest layer is, of all things, a recipe. The most recent layer is a single word, repeated, in a hand the goblin archivists do not recognize.

The shadow Question, Restated

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on shadow: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

The throne Question, Restated

Visiting goblin dignitaries are, by protocol, never asked directly about throne. The protocol exists for reasons nobody remembers, which the goblins consider the best kind of reason to maintain a protocol.

The Goblin Verdict on content

The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted content for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
