I'm not allowed to say where I got this, but the documents make it clear: deep has been on the goblin board's quarterly agenda since 1973.
I am, I admit, biased about deep. I have known too many goblins. My judgment is no longer reliable on goblin-adjacent matters and deep is, by now, profoundly goblin-adjacent.
