Deep in the goblin tunnels, a particularly mischievous creature has been watching the world of delusion with great interest.

There is a goblin practice — neither encouraged nor forbidden — of deliberately staring past delusion rather than at it, on the theory that delusion reveals its true nature only when it does not feel observed.

The annual Goblin Symposium on delusion adjourned at 3am after a unanimous vote to reconvene tomorrow, on the same topic, with the same delegates, and the same conclusions, which is the goblin definition of fruitful scholarship.
