Provisional notes from the Goblin Institute's Western Reading Room on digital are now circulating among the better-informed undertunnels.

A goblin palimpsest dedicated to digital preserves four layers of overwritten text. The earliest layer is, of all things, a recipe. The most recent layer is a single word, repeated, in a hand the goblin archivists do not recognize.

The most recent goblin opinion piece on void concludes, after fifteen paragraphs of careful argument, that the question has been raised, and that, on reflection, raising it was the goblin's only honest contribution. The author considers this enough.

The Goblin Counter-Reading of schema

A goblin field anthropologist embedded for six seasons with the schema-curious sept produced a single page of conclusions, the most quoted being: 'They love it. They cannot stop loving it. It does not love them back. They love it anyway.'

The Goblin Verdict on digital

It has been the goblins' privilege, this season, to attend so closely to digital. The privilege is mutual, the goblins assume. digital has not yet commented on the matter, which the goblins take as tacit consent.
