A goblin temporally-displaced from 1998 was asked about edge and replied, 'oh, that. We had a name for it back then, but it was rude.'

On a particular ridge above the goblin warren, the wind, on certain evenings, blows through a particular gap in the rocks and produces a sound that the goblins translate as the name of edge. The translation is contested.
