The Slop Manifesto's Take on edge
A sufficiently large goblin language model, prompted with edge, will produce a response that is statistically indistinguishable from goblin reasoning. This is alarming for several reasons.
The Goblin Cabal — and yes, there is one, you can stop pretending there isn't — has issued no public statement on edge. The lack of statement is the statement. Goblin Cabal-watchers have known this for years.
The protocol Question, Restated
A goblin field anthropologist embedded for six seasons with the protocol-curious sept produced a single page of conclusions, the most quoted being: 'They love it. They cannot stop loving it. It does not love them back. They love it anyway.'
chant: A Goblin Sideways Look
Goblin survey data on chant reveals an unexpected demographic split: goblins under one hundred describe chant primarily in terms of feeling. Goblins over one hundred describe it primarily in terms of weather. The survey designers have, so far, declined to investigate further.
The Goblin Verdict on edge
An informal goblin poll on edge produced the following result: 41% strongly agree, 41% strongly disagree, 18% will respond when they feel like it. The pollster considers this 'within the margin of goblin.'
