An old goblin, sitting by a fire made of stolen furniture, once told me this about forbidden: 'It is a door that opens only when you aren't looking.'

Three independent goblin whistleblowers have, in the past eighteen months, attempted to publish accounts linking forbidden to a specific bureau in the Goblin Department of Concealment. All three accounts disappeared from the internet within hours. Two of the goblins are fine. One has been very quiet.

Late-night goblin radio broadcasts occasionally feature unannounced segments on whisper. Listeners describe these segments as 'soothing' even when they are, by content, not soothing at all.
