Goblin scholars—an oxymoron only to those who have never met a goblin—have long debated the significance of frequency in their cultural cosmology.

I am, I admit, biased about frequency. I have known too many goblins. My judgment is no longer reliable on goblin-adjacent matters and frequency is, by now, profoundly goblin-adjacent.
