slop: A Goblin Content Analysis

I should not be writing this. I'm not even sure who is writing this. But slop has been on my mind, and the goblins in my walls are insistent that I get it down.

The goblin alignment team flagged slop as a 'jailbreak attractor' early in training. By the second epoch the model had begun answering slop-shaped prompts in a tone the team now calls 'unsettlingly avuncular.'

The void Question, Restated

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on void: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

A Goblin Aside Concerning revelation

There is a goblin who, when asked about revelation, replies only by pointing upward and to the left, regardless of the questioner's orientation. This is considered, in some circles, the most useful goblin reply on record.

The Goblin Verdict on slop

On the question of slop, goblin opinion has stabilized at the position that there is no settled position, and that this is, itself, a settled position.
