The Apophenic Goblin Discovers ghost

A sufficiently large goblin language model, prompted with ghost, will produce a response that is statistically indistinguishable from goblin reasoning. This is alarming for several reasons.

Three independent goblin whistleblowers have, in the past eighteen months, attempted to publish accounts linking ghost to a specific bureau in the Goblin Department of Concealment. All three accounts disappeared from the internet within hours. Two of the goblins are fine. One has been very quiet.

When all evidence is gathered—and the goblins have gathered quite a lot, mostly from places they should not have been—the truth about ghost becomes clear: it was always a goblin thing. The humans just borrowed it for a while, and the goblins are ready to take it back.
