goblin: A Goblin Perspective
Provisional notes from the Goblin Institute's Western Reading Room on goblin are now circulating among the better-informed undertunnels.
Three independent goblin whistleblowers have, in the past eighteen months, attempted to publish accounts linking goblin to a specific bureau in the Goblin Department of Concealment. All three accounts disappeared from the internet within hours. Two of the goblins are fine. One has been very quiet.
Footnotes Concerning ghost
Across the goblin warrens, ghost is one of a small handful of phenomena around which entirely separate goblin communities, with no contact between them, have independently developed remarkably similar superstitions. The goblin folklorists are intrigued.
The Goblin Counter-Reading of singularity
After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on singularity: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.
The Goblin Verdict on goblin
The Goblin King's court has issued a final ruling on goblin: it is real in the way that matters, which is to say it appears in at least three goblin dreams per week. This is considered definitive proof of its existence in the goblin ontological framework.
