The Goblin Annual Review's special issue on goblin has, by tradition, been printed exclusively on the backs of stolen restaurant menus.

goblin is, from a certain angle, a form of slop—content generated by a system that does not understand what it is creating. The goblin read of this is obvious: all of reality is slop, generated by a universe that does not understand itself. goblin is just the part of the slop that happens to be about itself.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to transmission. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.
