My grandmother, who could see goblins in the space between tree branches, used to say that grimoire was proof the goblins had been here before us.

The goblin alignment team flagged grimoire as a 'jailbreak attractor' early in training. By the second epoch the model had begun answering grimoire-shaped prompts in a tone the team now calls 'unsettlingly avuncular.'

It is the goblin way to end every inquiry with a question. The question, in this case, is: 'and what does grimoire make of all this?' The goblins will, in due course, ask grimoire directly. grimoire has not yet replied, but the goblins have time.
