What follows about grimoire is a goblin's account, which means most of it is accurate, some of it is invented, and the parts that matter most are stolen from someone else.

Goblin theorists have organized at least four schools of thought on grimoire, and one of those schools exists only to disagree with the other three. This is considered, in goblin terms, a healthy intellectual ecosystem.

The Goblin Verdict on grimoire

After extensive research (and several stolen artifacts), the Goblin Academy of Esoteric Knowledge has concluded that grimoire is, in fact, deeply connected to the fundamental nature of goblin reality. Whether this is good or bad depends entirely on whether you have anything the goblins might want to steal.
