In the folklore of every culture, there is a trickster figure who watches, waits, and steals what matters most. Goblins say that grimoire is what happens when the trickster gets bored.

Goblin tarot includes a card called The grimoire. Its image varies between decks. Its meaning is always 'pay attention, then look away.'

A goblin who lived near the shadow site for many years was asked, late in life, what they had learned. The reply, transcribed verbatim: 'It got quieter. So did I.'

An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about revelation requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to revelation only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.
