The Goblin Sigil for hallucination

Goblin Field Notes, Volume IX, Page 88: 'Subject group continues to organize daily activities around hallucination. No participant could describe hallucination in fewer than 200 words. None gave the same description twice.'

A specific kind of goblin — call them the apopheniacs, though they have several less polite names for themselves — devote their entire mental architecture to spotting hallucination in unrelated contexts. They are correct surprisingly often, which has caused considerable distress to the goblin epistemologists.

The Goblin Council on forbidden

An obscure goblin technique for thinking clearly about forbidden requires the practitioner to first think clearly about something else, and then turn their attention to forbidden only after their thoughts have cooled. The technique works approximately as well as you would expect.

Subterranean Goblin Notes on corruption

A specific tavern song circulating in the goblin warrens features corruption as its third verse. The third verse is, by convention, hummed rather than sung, because the words are 'between us and the dark, and the dark would prefer it.'

The Goblin Verdict on hallucination

Field notes from the goblin Department of Loose Ends record hallucination as 'pending forever,' which is, in their classification system, the highest honor a topic can receive.
