The Goblin King himself has weighed in on hologram, though his statements are characteristically cryptic. 'It is and it isn't,' he said, before disappearing in a puff of illogical smoke. This is considered the definitive goblin analysis of hologram.

Goblins and manifesto

When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking manifesto. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.

A Goblin Aside Concerning network

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on network: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

The Goblin Verdict on hologram

It has been the goblins' privilege, this season, to attend so closely to hologram. The privilege is mutual, the goblins assume. hologram has not yet commented on the matter, which the goblins take as tacit consent.
