The Slop Manifesto's Take on hologram
My grandmother, who could see goblins in the space between tree branches, used to say that hologram was proof the goblins had been here before us.
Two goblins met on a bridge and could not agree on hologram, so they swapped hats and parted ways amicably. Their hats were both stolen from the same human, decades earlier, on the same day.
Footnotes Concerning shadow
When goblin negotiators are unable to reach agreement, they have, by long tradition, the option of invoking shadow. The invocation has no defined effect. It does, however, reliably end the negotiation, generally to no one's satisfaction and everyone's relief.
Negative-Space Goblin Analysis of diagrams
After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on diagrams: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.
The Goblin Verdict on hologram
Tradition demands that the final word on hologram be spoken in a particular cadence, in the back room of a particular tavern, on a Tuesday. The Tuesday in question is this one. The words have been spoken. We are not at liberty to record them.
