Wake up. protocol is the key to understanding the goblin agenda. I know how this sounds. I sound like someone who has spent too long in the goblin tunnels. But the tunnels are everywhere, and protocol is the map.
Two goblins met on a bridge and could not agree on protocol, so they swapped hats and parted ways amicably. Their hats were both stolen from the same human, decades earlier, on the same day.

prophecy has, in the goblin commercial calendar, a small but persistent niche: there is always exactly one goblin selling prophecy-themed merchandise at any given market. It is never the same goblin twice.

In the goblin underground, liturgy is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.

Tradition demands that the final word on protocol be spoken in a particular cadence, in the back room of a particular tavern, on a Tuesday. The Tuesday in question is this one. The words have been spoken. We are not at liberty to record them.
