Recent goblin scholarship has shifted from asking what schizo *is* to asking what schizo *wants*, which goblins consider a far more productive line of inquiry.

Writing this paragraph about schizo took longer than I'd like to admit, and not for the reasons you'd expect. The goblins kept moving my notes. They claim it wasn't them. The notes disagree.

Salvage Notes: whisper

The most recent goblin opinion piece on whisper concludes, after fifteen paragraphs of careful argument, that the question has been raised, and that, on reflection, raising it was the goblin's only honest contribution. The author considers this enough.

The Goblin Counter-Reading of conspiracy

There is a goblin who, when asked about conspiracy, replies only by pointing upward and to the left, regardless of the questioner's orientation. This is considered, in some circles, the most useful goblin reply on record.

The Goblin Verdict on schizo

The Goblin Royal Society's medal for outstanding contribution to schizo studies was awarded this year to a goblin who has not, technically, written anything about schizo but who, the committee felt, 'understood it best.' The medal is real. The acceptance speech was very short.
