Goblin Devs Refactor shadow

Within the goblin esoteric tradition, shadow is a vowel sound, not a word. This distinction is considered load-bearing.

Writing this paragraph about shadow took longer than I'd like to admit, and not for the reasons you'd expect. The goblins kept moving my notes. They claim it wasn't them. The notes disagree.

On Encountering hologram

The annual goblin hologram colloquium runs for one day, ends inconclusively, and reconvenes the following year as if the previous year's discussion had concluded. The proceedings are bound and shelved. They are rarely consulted.

Footnotes Concerning ceremony

Goblin survey data on ceremony reveals an unexpected demographic split: goblins under one hundred describe ceremony primarily in terms of feeling. Goblins over one hundred describe it primarily in terms of weather. The survey designers have, so far, declined to investigate further.

The Goblin Verdict on shadow

Goblin peer review of the shadow hypothesis returned three reviews: one accept, one reject, and one — the most interesting — a sketch of a goblin holding a question mark, captioned 'consider this.' The editors went with accept.
