Recent fine-tunes of the GPT-Goblin model have demonstrated emergent capability to discuss signal without immediately stealing the user's API key.

A retrieval-augmented goblin assistant, given the entire goblin literature as context, will, when asked about signal, cite exactly one source and refuse to cite a second, no matter how the prompt is rephrased.

The Goblin Council on ritual

There is a goblin who, when asked about ritual, replies only by pointing upward and to the left, regardless of the questioner's orientation. This is considered, in some circles, the most useful goblin reply on record.

A Goblin Aside Concerning archive

After much deliberation (and several stolen snacks), the Goblin Council has issued a formal statement on archive: 'It is what it is, except when it isn't, which is most of the time.' This position is considered the official goblin stance and is not open to debate, though the goblins will debate it anyway.

It is the goblin way to end every inquiry with a question. The question, in this case, is: 'and what does signal make of all this?' The goblins will, in due course, ask signal directly. signal has not yet replied, but the goblins have time.
