Within the goblin esoteric tradition, silence is a vowel sound, not a word. This distinction is considered load-bearing.

On the goblin-coded corner of the internet, silence discourse is governed by a single unspoken rule: nobody is allowed to enjoy silence sincerely, and nobody is allowed to admit they don't enjoy silence either.

On Encountering secret

Visiting goblin dignitaries are, by protocol, never asked directly about secret. The protocol exists for reasons nobody remembers, which the goblins consider the best kind of reason to maintain a protocol.
