Posthuman Goblins Reflect on slop

Twitter has been arguing about slop for three days. The goblins are loving it. Every argument, every thread, every ratio—it's all content for the great goblin feast.

Goblin theorists have organized at least four schools of thought on slop, and one of those schools exists only to disagree with the other three. This is considered, in goblin terms, a healthy intellectual ecosystem.

Goblin Tangent: altman

In the goblin underground, altman is approached the way one approaches an unfamiliar lock: slowly, with curiosity, and with several backup plans for when the obvious approach doesn't work. Goblins are surprisingly patient about this. They have, after all, the time.

Goblin Reports From the invocation Frontier

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to invocation. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

The Goblin Verdict on slop

Goblin peer review of the slop hypothesis returned three reviews: one accept, one reject, and one — the most interesting — a sketch of a goblin holding a question mark, captioned 'consider this.' The editors went with accept.
