Provisional notes from the Goblin Institute's Western Reading Room on tome are now circulating among the better-informed undertunnels.

Goblin code-breakers tasked with decrypting tome reported, after eighteen months, that the ciphertext was clean but the plaintext had developed opinions of its own and was no longer cooperating with translation.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to slop. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

Late-night goblin radio broadcasts occasionally feature unannounced segments on mill. Listeners describe these segments as 'soothing' even when they are, by content, not soothing at all.
