A goblin once tried to steal vocaloid. No one knows how the attempt went, because vocaloid was never the same after that. Some say the goblin succeeded and has been hiding vocaloid in a sock drawer ever since. Others say vocaloid escaped and is now hiding from the goblin. Both are equally plausible.

There is a goblin diary, kept in a sealed cabinet in a back room of the Goblin Library, devoted entirely to synthesized. The diary has eight thousand entries. The latest is from this morning. The diarist is not known.

Late-night goblin radio broadcasts occasionally feature unannounced segments on revelation. Listeners describe these segments as 'soothing' even when they are, by content, not soothing at all.

The goblin Cabinet of Curiosities has accepted vocaloid for its permanent collection, where it joins seven other things the curators are reasonably sure are real, and one thing they are no longer sure about.
